Since 1988, Wayo Sushi in San Francisco has been offering authentic, high-quality sushi prepared by Japanese chef & owner, Mamoru Ogawa.
This year, Wayo is celebrating its 36th anniversary! We have been able to serve San Francisco for over three decades because we have an amazing local community. We deeply appreciate your continued support.

To Dine or to Order Takeout at Wayo Sushi:

Wayo Sushi is OPEN for takeout for lunch and dinner and limited indoor dining for dinner (reservations only), so please give us a call ahead.

Dining at Wayo is a particular experience. Wayo is a one-man show. This means that whether you are dining at the restaurant or ordering takeout, you need to call in advance. If the door is closed or locked and you have already called, please knock and you will be let in. We sometimes keep the door locked for the safety and comfort of our guests. If you choose to walk in without calling ahead, we apologize but we may be unable to accommodate you.
